Tim Tedder
Professional Info
For over 20 years, I’ve dedicated my professional life to helping individuals and couples heal and rebuild after the trauma of infidelity. My own journey through personal failure and transformation led me to this work—one that is rooted in my deep belief that everyone has the potential to heal, change, and grow after an affair.
My driving purpose is to help individuals and couples turn snags of affair recovery into springboards for healing and change. I have a special passion for assisting Involved Partners, but I also work with couples and betrayed partners.
Background Info
In 2006, I began counseling while finishing my Master's in Counseling at Indiana Wesleyan University. I began counseling full-time in Muncie, IN, before eventually joining a private counseling practice in central Florida.
In 2009, I created this site, AffairHealing.com, which has become a popular online recovery resource. Several years later, I began producing the Affair Recovery Room Podcast.
In 2013, I opened Currents Counseling Services in Orlando, working with co-counselors Sharon and Jennifer and focusing on affair recovery therapy.
In 2019, I moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family. I conduct video sessions from my home office while developing and expanding online affair recovery resources.
In 2026, I retired my counseling license to focus on coaching clients worldwide.
One quality that I highly value is creativity. I try to blend that into the services and resources I provide, but perhaps its most obvious integrations are in various podcast episodes where I use original songs, audio sketches, and illustrations to communicate a message.

What Clients Say…

My husband, family and I have benefited greatly from Tim's life experience and wisdom. His effectiveness would certainly be lessened without his ability to relate to us through his own life experience. We are so grateful for the journey we are on, and would be in a completely different place... and not a good one... without the guidance we received from him.

I know it's been many years since we chatted. [We] are celebrating our 22nd anniversary tomorrow and we've been talking about all the ups and downs over the decades, the gratitude we have for the life and relationship we've sustained... Our conversation came back to you more than once... We are so grateful for you. You were such a critical part of us surviving together, and we still utilize many of the tools you gave us so many years ago. Thanks again!

Just a note to say how thankful we are to have found you. We appreciate your guidance as you've walked through this with us. Our marriage has become more than I could've asked or thought. Thanks for being a significant part of our second chance.
