How do I schedule a phone or video appointment?
Use our online portal to schedule a phone coaching session with Tim, Jennifer, or Sharon. You can book your appointment online at any time. (If you have any questions, you are free to contact us. Coaching appointments are only accepted via online scheduling at this time.)
What's the cost? When do I pay?
Costs vary from $45-$100, depending on the coach you choose and the length of your session. See price breakdown under "Which Coach is right for you?" near the top of this page.
You will not be billed until the appointment and you can cancel online with at least 24-hour notification.
What phone number is used for coaching sessions?
Once you have scheduled a phone appointment with a coach, you will receive email confirmation and instructions for calling your coach's conference number at the scheduled time. If you are the first to call in, you will hear hold music until your counselor arrives.
Go the our contact page for more detail regarding access numbers.
Are there any location limitations?
We use a phone conferencing service with access numbers available in many countries throughout the world. Please be aware that all sessions are conducted in English.
Can my spouse/partner join in on the coaching session?
A second person can join the session by calling into the conference phone number (emailed to you in the appointment confirmation).
If someone else is joining you in the call, you will get the best call quality if each person calls into the number from a different phone.
NOTE: Sharon only coaches individual clients. Tim and Jennifer coach individuals and couples.
Is coaching the same as counseling?
Our coaches bring their counseling expertise into the process, so there are definitely similarities, but there are differences, too. For more information, view this page: The Difference Between Counseling & Coaching.
How often will I schedule a session?
You are in complete control of how often and for how long you schedule a session. Maybe you only need a single conversation to gain some expert opinion, or maybe you want to schedule weekly appointments to help you through the next months of recovery. Scheduling is completely up to you. You make use of the coaching service as long as it is helpful to you. You will never be pressured to do more than you want to do.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment? Will I get my money back?
You will be able to cancel or reschedule at any time up to 24-hours before your scheduled time. No charges will be made for cancellations made with at least 24-hour notification. Please Note: 1/2 the full session fee will be charged for cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice. (For new clients, the payment can be applied to a rescheduled appointment. For clients on scholarship, the penalty fee will not exceed their approved scholarship rate.)
Do you offer Skype or video sessions?
No. Our office WiFi does not provide reliable video streaming, especially when multiple sources are using it. Currently, coaching sessions are limited to phone only.
Is any special software or equipment required?
All you need is a phone.
I've got more questions. How can I be sure a Coach will be a good "fit" for us?
Feel free to contact us with any questions you have. We can schedule a free 15-minute consultation with any coach so you can find out more about their services. (Please note: consultations are meant to answer questions about coaching services provided or to find out more about the coaches, not to provide advice or counsel for your specific situation.)
