About Tim...Prior to earning his Masters Degree in Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, Tim spent nearly 20 years as a leader and teacher, focusing on spiritual and personal growth issues for individuals and families. In his speaking and counseling, he aims to "creatively communicate a message of hope and healing to wounded people" with a special focus in helping couples and families in crisis. Tim has attained the credentials of a Nationally Certified Counselor. He worked as a family therapist in Indiana before moving with his wife, Sharon, to Orlando in 2008 to join the Charis Counseling staff. What kind of counseling opportunities are available for individuals and couples? » Single Sessions (50 min.) *Weekend Focus counseling is customized for each client/couple based on need and is available to those who can travel to Orlando for a focussed weekend of recovery therapy. Tim's FeesAll sessions are $90 per clinical hour, regardless of whether the session is for an individual or a couple. Weekend Focus sessions are customized for each client, based on specific needs, and range from $750 to $1500. (Clients are responsible for their transportation and housing.) Contact Tim for more information. Charis Counseling Center operates on a fee-for-service basis and currently does not accept third-party payments. Charis does, however, provide clients with insurance-ready receipts that can be submitted to insurance companies providing their coverage. |

Tim Tedder offers affair counseling and marriage counseling locally to anyone in the Central Florida area, or by phone/travel to those living elsewhere (see details in right column). As a therapist at the Charis Counseling Center in Orlando, his passion is to provide hope and healing to wounded individuals and families. He is a Christian counselor who welcomes anyone to the healing process regardless of their religious beliefs.
Although Tim counsels clients dealing with a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns, much of therapy is directed toward helping individuals and couples working through affair issues. He assists clients in gaining insight into why an affair occurred, what should be changed, and how lives and marriages can be restored. The content of this web site comes directly from his study and work on affairs.
